Sofia Ng

MBA with First Class Honors
Having spent her adult life in various IT roles across different industries Sofia has gained a wide understanding of IT supporting business. Predominantly working in database, business intelligence, and integration roles she has a deep understanding of where businesses can leverage their data and how best to architect a solution that will allow growth. Sofia loves a challenge and enjoys the growth opportunities which cloud options such as AWS and Azure offer the market. Sofia’s drive for learning pushed her to study an EMBA at Massey University where she earned first-class honors.
Miriam Quarterman
Senior Business Solutions Engineer
After leaving college Miriam spent the first 10 years working in food product development and manufacturing before a back injury lead her to retrain.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Information Technology at 30, Miriam has been working in Microsoft and Oracle database Managed Services Provider practices both locally (Nelson) and internationally (Canada, remote from Nelson) as a database administrator, consultant, manager and analyst.
Miriam also brings a broad range of problem solving, process development, data management and leadership skills to the table.
Miriam is highly customer focused and experienced working across multi-functional, globally distributed technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Having worked with an extensive range of diverse businesses in her career, living and breathing data, Miriam is excited to become the subject matter expert in the increasingly critical field of Data Governance.
Patrick Ng
Founder, Chief Organiser
I started my career with qualifications in Accountancy and Economics, and gained my Chartered Accountancy (CA) status by working in a number of industries, including taxation, information technology and oil and gas. I then undertook further study and completed an MBA. This coincided with a shift in interests and I took on the management of large outsourcing contracts, culminating in a role as Vice President for Utilities. A further career change saw me take on the role of Deputy Government Statistician (collection, client serving and dissemination), before running large scale programmes (the largest of which was worth $600m), prior to joining Health. In health I have held the Chief Information Officer portfolio, alongside the building and services portfolios. I then spent 4 years as a Chief Operating Officer, running health services prior to returning to focus on digital as a Chief Digital Officer.I enjoy complex and challenging environments, and I have held senior roles in a number of industries. My favourite place to be is moving in the direction of the future - identifying a strategy for the future, leading the business case work and then leading the programme that comes from the business case to implement the change and realise the benefits.I look forward to our company offering value to many enterprises in the years to come.
